Nice–New York and Nice–Toronto: two new nonstop routes announced for 2027

How easily a destination can be reached matters for holidays and for everyday life. Two airline announcements for summer 2027 will expand nonstop travel options between Nice and North America: American Airlines to New York-JFK and Air Canada to Toronto Pearson.
American Airlines plans to introduce a daily nonstop Nice–New York-JFK service from 6 May 2027. According to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, this seasonal route will use an Airbus A321XLR and will complement the airline’s existing Nice–Philadelphia service. It is an additional New York connection, not the first nonstop flight between the two cities.
Canada is gaining a new option too. Air Canada has announced a Nice–Toronto Pearson route operating twice weekly from 16 June to 23 October 2027. The Nice Côte d’Azur Tourist Office reports scheduled departures from Nice on Wednesdays and Saturdays, operated by an Airbus A330-300.
These routes are relevant beyond leisure travel. Nonstop connections can make journeys simpler for internationally mobile families, business travellers, second-home owners and visitors exploring the French Riviera without a transfer on these particular journeys.
